Who am I?
I'm just this simple and boring person you happen to know.
What's to brag when you have nothing but your heart?
I'm blessed to have my faith, my family, my friends.
I'm just lucky to be here.
Yet, I act mean and selfish to others. Some may even call me sarcastic.
Why?
Its a vulnerability I have.
Deep inside.. I'm scared of the world.
Scared of reality.
To others, I look like a nice outgoing person without a care in the world.
That's a lie.
I come from a broken world.
There are beautiful stain glass windows with cracks in them.
The ground is hard and coarse to the touch.
The only comfort is the sight from the roof where you can see the sun set and rise, the stars dance and the moon watch.
I have seen so much but share so little of myself.
I have trust issues, I know I do.
I try to stand up for what I believe in because that's all I got.
Like a bird with a broken wing, I just stare at the sky.
Because one day, I know I'll fly.
