GODSPELL
So I did audition in the end. I felt so bad since Timothy kinda made an effort to come up with a slot for Mel and I to audition on Sunday. Mel skipped Sunday School in CKK and joined my Form 4 class in CDM. We auditioned after Sunday School and well...
I've landed a role on CDM's GODSPELL production. I'm Peggy. The musical (which you can read about on the oh-so-faithful Wikipedia) has only 10 main characters and each (well, 9 actually) lead in one song. Mine is the BY MY SIDE. its rather slow. I was suppose to get the role of Gilmer who sing this 1 minute song song LEARN YOUR LESSONS WELL but Timothy send me a sms later telling me that I'm switching roles with Mel. His excuse was that BY MY SIDE suited me better.
Practices are on Saturday from 2.30pm to .. who knows when. I've got BK at 4pm so I'm "cabut-ing" earlier. I'm glad I auditioned. I was going to audition after Sunday School with or without Mel but she came through in the end. I guess I've got "a bit" of independence with me.
