a friend is someone you can truly rely on. You tell your problems to them and they share theirs with you. You call them to talk about anything out of the blue and you know, they are there to listen. You don't mind when they call you to complain about the way their bad hair day. Its a sort of trust you have. Its telling them your secrets and knowing they would never tell anyone else. Its knowing that they know boundaries and you do too. its them being there for you and you for them.
